DTF Printers - Direct to Film Transfer Printing Machines
A DTF printer prints your design onto film, coats it with adhesive powder, and cures it into a transfer you can press onto almost any fabric. Direct to film printing works on cotton, polyester, nylon, blends, and dark garments with no pretreatment, which is why it took over so much of the custom apparel market. All American Print Supply Co. is an authorized dealer for Prestige, Epson, Mimaki, and STS, and has sold garment decoration equipment since 1986.
Choosing a DTF printer by volume
Desktop DTF printers in the A3 and A4 class fit side businesses and sample work, printing a few dozen transfers a day from a bench. Mid-range roll systems such as the Prestige R2 Pro handle steady shop production. Wide-format direct to film machines with automatic shakers and inline curing run continuously for contract and wholesale volume. The honest deciding question for most buyers is how many transfers per week you need, since underbuying costs more in labor than the machine saved.
What a complete DTF setup includes
A DTF printing machine is one piece of the line. You also need a powder shaker and curing unit, either built in or standalone, plus a heat press to apply the finished transfer. Our bundles pair the printer, shaker, and oven so the pieces are matched and nothing is missing on arrival. Consumables come from the same place: DTF ink, transfer film, and adhesive powder are stocked for reorder.
Orders over $150 ship free from USA stock and financing including Affirm and Synchrony is available on equipment. Select DTF printers include live training so you are producing early rather than troubleshooting alone. Southern California buyers can see a DTF transfer printer running at our Cerritos showroom.
