- 1Print.Send your design to the SG500 on a sheet of VersiFlex Light paper.
- 2Press.Lay the sheet on your cotton shirt and press it. VersiFlex works best on a heat press where you set the pressure by hand.
- 3Peel.Peel the paper away and your full-color design is on the shirt.

Good to know before you start.
Can I print on dark shirts?
Not with VersiFlex. There's no white ink, so it's made for white, light and bright colors.
I already have a sublimation printer. Can it switch to VersiFlex ink?
No. A printer already running SubliJet UHD, ChromaBlast or EasySubli ink can't switch to the VersiFlex ink set. Cotton printing needs an SG500 set up with VersiFlex from the start, like this bundle.
Can I still make mugs and tumblers with it?
Yes. For your sublimation blanks, use the VersiFlex ink with TruePix sublimation paper and Sawgrass's color profiles. The bundle comes with VersiFlex Light paper for cotton; TruePix paper isn't included.
How well do the prints hold up in the wash?
In Sawgrass's wash testing, you can expect a quality image for up to 30 washes, using a normal wash cycle and medium-heat drying.
Is a heat press included?
No, you'll need your own. Go with a heat press where you can adjust the pressure by hand.
What computer do I need?
A Windows 8 or Mac 10.13 computer or newer with an Intel or AMD processor. You'll need an internet connection while the software installs. The printer connects over Wi-Fi, USB or Ethernet.

What's in the ink?
Sawgrass's inks are water-based and made without solvents, and they're manufactured to REACH and RoHS requirements. The VersiFlex cartridges are OEKO-TEX certified with a two-year shelf life.
