At our recent Open House in Buena Park, California, we had the pleasure of hosting YouTube sensation and custom apparel expert, Allan Wade, as our special guest. Over the course of the two day event, Allan delivered two seminars to a packed house of attendees sharing wisdom, knowledge, experience, and answers to our visitors' questions. We were able to get lots of content filmed together as well, which will be up on our Youtube channel very soon. Allan has been running a full blown production shop for quite some time now, and, over the course of the last year, one of his star equipment pieces has been the desktop direct to film printer from DTF Station. This was a great opportunity to learn from one of the seasoned veterans of our industry, and pick his brain on the state of affairs.

Before building his custom apparel empire (A-Dubb Productions), Allan was a regular civilian working a 9-5 as an Amtrak train conductor. Based on the upper east coast, this position took him to and from the Philadelphia, New York, and D.C. areas. It was during this stage of his life he developed an affinity for video content and teaching, which paved the way for where he sits today. As a musician by trade, Allan was looking to diversify his income stream as an artist and nurture that creative side, while building a better life for himself. ENTER T-SHIRTS. After some quick research, his first heat press was ordered and he began production out of the home. When a family member needed garments printed for their boating group, a vinyl cutter was purchased and the instructional videos started. Before he knew it, between support of friends, family, and colleagues, Allan had a full-blown small business on his hands. Through this, he was able to leave his day job to pursue his clothing venture, while educating the masses along the way.
