The Dual carries both lasers in one machine, so your metal jobs and your wood and leather jobs run on the same bench. Here's what each one adds to your order sheet.
Color-marked tumblers and camping mugs. Deep engraving and raised 3D relief on awards, coins and pendants. Cut-out name necklaces. Engraved flasks, keychains, rings, metal tags and nameplates.
The MOPA fiber lets you adjust the pulse, which is what gets you 100+ colors on stainless steel and titanium, deep engraving and embossing. It also cuts stainless and brass up to 2 mm and aluminum up to 1 mm.
Leather patches and hang tags. Engraved wood coasters, plaques and layered wood signs. Displays in dark or opaque acrylic. Paper and coated or painted pieces.
The diode cuts wood up to 23 mm and acrylic up to 20 mm thick. Clear acrylic and glass need a coating first, so plan on dark or opaque acrylic for diode work.

Single: your laser work is all metal (drinkware, tags, jewelry, awards and metal gifts) and you won't be engraving wood, leather or acrylic.
Dual: you sell metal pieces and wood, leather or acrylic goods too, and you'd rather run one machine than two. This is the model our walkthrough covers.

What you get: The F2 Ultra and everything in its box: touchscreen controller, exhaust pipe, cables, slatted panel, positioning piece, cleaning cloth, screwdriver and sample materials.
Best for: one-off and short-run personalization, or a shop that already vents outside and has a rotary.
What it adds: The conveyor. It stretches the bed to 500 mm long and feeds flat pieces through for batch engraving.
Best for: repeat flat items like tags, cards, coasters and flasks laid flat.
Good to know: It's for engraving and marking only. You can't cut through on the belt, run relief or curved-surface jobs on it, or use it at the same time as the rotary.
What it adds: The conveyor, the RA3 rotary for tumblers, rings and ornaments, and the SafetyPro™ AP2 air purifier.
Best for: the whole setup in one order: flat batches, round pieces, and smoke filtration for a shop that can't vent outside.

Two 48MP cameras show you where your blank sits on the bed. Drag the design onto it and it lands within 0.2 mm. When you're running a batch, every piece gets the same placement.
Jobs start in xTool Studio: bring in your art, place it, and pick the laser for the material. Already use LightBurn? Version 2.2.0 or later works with the F2 Ultra too. On xTool materials, it can read the material from its code and fill in the settings.
Wipe the lens with a lint-free cloth and alcohol when the marks start looking weak, brush the dust off the fan, and keep the exhaust clear. It's fully enclosed, the laser stops when the lid opens, and there's an emergency stop on the machine.

The Single is the 60W MOPA fiber only, for metal. The Dual adds the 40W diode, which engraves wood, leather and opaque acrylic and cuts wood to 23 mm and acrylic to 20 mm. Everything else is the same: body, cameras, work area and bundle choices.
If you already vent outside and mostly do one-offs, the F2 Ultra Only is enough. If you mark the same flat item over and over, add the conveyor. If you want round pieces and smoke filtration covered too, the Deluxe Bundle has the conveyor, the RA3 rotary and the AP2 air purifier.
No. The conveyor is for engraving and marking flat pieces in batches. Cutting through would hit the belt, and relief or curved-surface jobs don't run on it. It also can't be used at the same time as the rotary.
The exhaust has to go somewhere: outdoors through the pipe, or into an air purifier. There's no built-in filtration. The Deluxe Bundle includes the SafetyPro™ AP2 purifier for shops without an outside vent.
xTool Studio, xTool's own software. LightBurn version 2.2.0 or later is supported too. It connects over Wi-Fi or USB.
